Two orphans

Well, I’m a possum mum again, we have two very small ringtail possums - “Mouse” who weighed 80grams and “Dippy” 120grams - on the first day at home.
Mouse is literally the size of a mouse, has the same wedge shaped head and squeaks too but she is a rich red/orange colour. Mouse is the extrovert - she shoves her whole nose in her milk and then runs up my arm sneezing.
Dippy is so called as she is very shy, dips her head down all the time. She also has a “dip” in her nose. Dippy is very tolerant of Mouse - who thinks she should be carried everywhere on Dippy’s back. Poor Dippy is only marginally bigger than Mouse.
They are beautiful little creatures.
I feel so sorry for them being orphaned from their families - typically by a cat.
Although, it should be noted that Ringtail Possums will dump a baby that is small or weak.
Lots of feeding ahead.
